Keep the boozy sloes after straining from the gin. Mix with melted chocolate and spread onto baking sheet, refridgerate et voila. If you have a glut of that I’m first in the queue.

Just love these ‘different’ recipes. I adore making preserves, half the fun being the picking of the fruit from the hedgerows, then seeing what I can make of it all. I love to use my own recipes, creating stuff that is not available in the shops. I used to make preserves to raise funds for a local Cat Rescue Shelter, had a stall with an excess of 100 jars and sold the lot within an hour!

Now making for myself, and the occasional ‘customers’.

Thanks Val, all you need to do is sign up at http://lourish.com/join and create a new exchange for your manure, then people in your area can make offers to pick it up or swap something for it directly with you. Simple as that!
