Groovy Java and Grails Developers
Help create the lourish.com website
We’ve got lots we want to do with the Lourish web site – features to be added, things to be improved – and all we’re missing is the manpower to do it all.
The lourish.com site runs on Grails, so experience of writing web sites in Java using Spring and MySQL is expected. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn about Grails and get involved in some green-field development while at the same time helping a social enterprise start-up!
You’ll need a few years of Java/Spring web development experience, knowledge of SQL, the ability to work remotely and to deadlines. In return you’ll be a core member of the Lourish team, working with founder, Dave Bower, and other volunteers – so you’ll get some great experience to brag about on your CV!
The role is voluntary and depending on how much time you have it could be anything from a few hours a week to a full time position – it will be up to you to set your level of commitment.
